Melanated Candle Co. was founded in the fall of 2020 by two friends who shared one common obsession, candles.
Adriana and Jasmine patiently hand craft each candle with love and individuality in Dallas, TX. Each and every candle created will provide a unique everlasting aroma that is unforgettable.
How long can I expect my candle to burn?
Burn times will always vary depending on the placement of your candle. Drafty areas will burn slightly quicker. Burn times will also vary depending on the height of your wick. The longer the wick, the quicker the candle will burn. You can extend your candles burn time by burning the candles long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first burn them, they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting all the way to the edges. (Don't forget to trim your wicks)
How long does shipping take?
Our current processing time is 7 business days (Monday - Friday).
Once shipped standard shipping takes 3 -5 business days to deliver. Most customers receive their order within a week of ordering.
How will I know the status of my order?
Once your order has been shipped you will get an email sent to you with a tracking number. You can use that number to track your package through carrier tracking services.

Can I make changes to my order?
As soon as you place your order, we’re on it – we know you need it fast! Unfortunately this means we will be unable to make any changes as it’s already being processed. You’ll need to place another order or return any unwanted items.
What is the refund policy?
WE ONLY OFFER STORE CREDIT FOR RETURNS.
WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS TO ORIGINAL METHOD OF PAYING.
* We must receive your return within 7 days "if return applicable" of your order date to be eligible for a refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Do you have candle care tips?
The first burn is the most important burn in preventing memory rings in soy. For first burn let candle reach a full melt pool to edges before extinguishing. (Usually 1 hour will cover 1 diameter)
Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch after each burn once candle has solidified and is back to room temperature.
Do not leave a candle burning unattended.
Due to the nature of soy wax, you may notice "frosting" or a spot where the wax has pulled slightly away from the jar. This is completely normal for soy wax and will not affect your candle's scent throw (how much it smells) or the quality of the candle in any way.
